Scott Mclachlan
Next Generations & Communications

Scott is a Southsea boy has been a Pompey fan since the late 1970's where he was taken to games by his Dad and enthused by his Pompey mad Grandfather.

He is on his second stint as a PST Board Member having been voted on to the first ever Board in 2010.  He served as Spokesman for 18 months during the bid process to secure the club before heading off on a personal challenge which saw him walk to all 92 League football clubs in aid of Prostate Cancer research.  During this mammoth walk he still played a full part in PST business and even spent several evenings calling prospective shareholders from wherever he was staying that evening.  He stepped away in 2013 to concentrate on personal matters.

Passionate about the Trust and fan ownership Scott is helping out on the media side and has also launched the Next Generations youth group which looks to encourage younger fans to support the Trust. In his manifesto he vowed to work hard on improving PST communications with members and to enthuse and increase the membership to raise the PST profile locally and nationally.

Professionally Scott has had a long career in IT Support, living for many years in London where he has made many exile Pompey friends. Now settled back in Southsea he is keen to make sure his first child is a Pompey fan too
