July 2026 Update

It feels like the new season is getting ever closer. We’re now seeing updates from the training camp, rumours of potential signings, and new arrivals already through the door – all signs that the season is just around the corner.

We wanted to share a few updates from the Pompey Supporters’ Trust (PST).

Many of you will already be aware that, at the last Board meeting, Ian Limb was elected as the new Chair of the Pompey Supporters’ Trust. Ian officially took up the role on 1 July 2026, succeeding Donald Vass. Ian has served on the PST Board for the past three years and will be sharing more about his objectives and vision for the Trust in the coming months.

We would also like to thank Leon Tricker, who has decided to step down from the Board, for his valuable contribution and commitment to the PST. At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Scott McLachlan back to the Board – a name many members will recognise from his previous involvement with the Trust.

We will soon be confirming the dates of the PST AGM and details of our popular annual Q&A with the key decisions makers at the club in attendance.

There are a couple of important projects currently underway within the PST.

Firstly, we are in the process of developing a new website. This will enable us to communicate more effectively with supporters, improve engagement with our membership, and manage our member database more efficiently.

Secondly, we are continuing to work through the results of the supporter survey conducted towards the end of last season. While the headline findings have already been shared, we also received more than 700 questions from supporters covering a wide range of topics and issues. We are currently grouping these questions into key themes and, over the coming months, will publish updates on these themes along with responses where appropriate. We will also outline how and where these matters are being taken forward, whether directly with the club, through the Heritage and Advisory Board, or via the TGFC. Watch this space for further updates.

Another sure sign that the season is nearly upon us is the return of away tickets.

We are pleased to confirm that the PST will once again receive an exclusive allocation of away tickets for the 2026/27 season. These tickets will be available exclusively to PST members

Members will be able to apply for these tickets through a ballot system, providing access to a small allocation for each fixture and giving supporters an opportunity to secure tickets they may not otherwise have been able to obtain.

To be eligible, PST members must sign up free of charge to the PST Away Ticket Scheme HERE. Members registered for the scheme will receive email notifications before tickets go on sale, giving them the opportunity to request tickets for upcoming fixtures. Where demand exceeds supply, a random ballot will be used to determine allocations. Members who are already in the scheme do not need to re-join.

Please note that the window to join the Away Ticket Scheme for the 2026/27 season closes at the end of July, so make sure you register before then.
