The Pompey History Society, in partnership with Portsmouth FC, have organised a very special commemorative dinner to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the 1948-49 League Championship recreating the club's original celebratory dinner dance.
This dinner will be held at the Queen's Hotel Southsea on Friday 21st June from 6.45pm. The event will consist of a 5-course meal recreating the menu from the original 1949 event.
With live 1940s style music, a souvenir replica signed team photograph and the opportunity to have your photo taken with the replica trophy it’s sure to be an exciting evening.
There are limited Gold packages available for £65 per person.
For those that wish to make the evening even more special a very limited number of Platinum packages are available which offer the unique chance to ride a vintage team bus as it takes the trophy along the route of the 1949 victory parade. This once in a lifetime opportunity is available for £110 person.
