PST appoint new Treasurer

Geoff Paul has been appointed as the PST’s new Treasurer.
 
Geoff, who is 67 has supported Pompey since 1958 and been a home season ticket holder since 1994 and regular at away games.  He (along with his wife and 3 grandchildren) are shareholders in the PST.
 
As an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Geoff has held a variety of senior financial roles during his career including the position of Financial Director and Company Secretary until his retirement in 2012.
 
Away from work, Geoff was a member of the Northamptonshire Special Constabulary from 1973-2003, and served as Chief Commandant, with responsibility for 300 Special Constables (1995-2003).  He was a qualified Football Referee from 1968-1998, attaining Level 5, and on retirement from active refereeing, became an FA qualified Assessor, and now regularly watches and advises aspiring referees.
 
On being appointed PST Treasurer, Geoff said “I am proud to have been asked to become Treasurer of the PST.  My connection with Pompey is incredibly strong. I joined the PST very early on, and am now delighted to take a more active role to help take the organisation forward”.
