PST looking for Family Section improvements

The PST is pleased to announce that it is working with Centerplate, the company responsible for managing the kiosks at Fratton Park this season, as part of a pilot test to improve the match day experience for people that sit in the South Stand Family Section at Fratton Park.

PST Board Member John Kimbell said “I have sat in the Family Section for over 30 years and to be honest other than seats being installed a number of years ago - until this season, nothing has ever really changed.

Like many parts of the ground, the toilets weren’t fit for purpose and the area as a whole just wasn’t particularly family oriented.  Given the recent improvements, we decided that this area of the ground would be a perfect place for us to look at seeing how we could get more involved in helping to make it more family friendly.  We are working closely with Paula Street from Centerplate to ensure healthier options are on offer for fans at the kiosk and are grateful for their help with this”.

We hope the project will ultimately help us reach and engage more with a diverse fan base and are grateful for the club’s support”.

The PST board is looking at other initiatives for the kiosk and the Family Section as a whole to ensure every fan that comes to watch a match from this area has a positive experience, so if any members have any ideas or wish to get involved in this project, please email [email protected].
