The PST welcomed 2 new members to its ranks yesterday after manager Paul Cook and First Team Coach Ian Foster, paid £5 to sign up for annual membership.

Paul Cook said "It's the best £5 I've spent all year!. I'm delighted to sign up as a member and will be encouraging as many of the lads as I can to do the same. It's important that we try to show our support for the fans and the club, the same way as you all support us week in, week out"

Cook signing up kicks off a concerted effort by the PST board for new members, which includes the launch of the 'Next Generations' group and working with EA SPORTS to try and attract more younger fans to Fratton Park. A brand new radio ad will also air from tomorrow on Express FM and at Fratton Park - again supported by Cook.

John Kimbell who oversees Marketing & Comminications for the PST, said "The board have been working really hard since the end of last year to bring to life a number of projects - one of which is this push for new members. We hope this coordinated campaign will help inform those people who may not know who we are or what we do and in turn encourage them to support our objectives"

Fans are welcome to join members of the PST board and PFC players tomorrow at the 'EA SPORTS Dugout' which will be located behind the Fratton End from 1pm. Fans signing up to become members tomorrow will be entered into a prize draw to win a copy of FIFA16, signed by the Pompey squad.

The Pompey bus will also be open as usual.
