We are delighted to be able to share with you more details about Fans Day 2014, which will be held at Fratton Park this Saturday (16th August), before our game with Cambridge United.

Everything will kick off at 11.30am and will run until 2.30pm with Iain McInnes, Penny Mourdant and Donna Jones opening the day with the help of Dan Windle from Express FM.

There will be plenty to keep people entertained, including:-

A stage with live music from the likes of Kill Kasper, Andy Muscat, Dickensian Vagabonds, Billy Gregory and Thee Sultan Sheiks
Kids face painting
Penalty shoot-out game
A blow up football pitch bungee run, rodeo football, human table football & Sumo
A Pompey Pals display (with Pompey Pals Ale for sale)
A raffle
A licenced bar
BBQ/Hog roast & ice cream van

The Pompey In The Community team will also be there with the National Citizenship Service children with a dedicated area that includes penalties, a crossbar challenge & fastest shot.

As we look to reinforce our commitment to (and responsibilities within) the local community, we are delighted to be able to inform you that the costs for staging this year’s event have been met entirely by the PST and an anonymous donation from one of our presidents.

The day is free to all, but we do ask that everyone supports our charity fundraising by buying raffle tickets, making a donation to use any of the rides and/or donating directly into the buckets that will be going round the during the event.

All proceeds from the event will be going to 3 very worthwhile and local causes - Jacks 1st Steps, The Elizabeth Foudation & The Patey Day Centre.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday and would urge all fans to come early and support Fans Day.
