The PST are keen to gather the thoughts of all PST members and PFC fans generally, as we look at working with the club to enhance the match day experience for fans that sit in the Family Section at Fratton Park.
Currently situated in the lower section of the South Stand, the Family Section has long been an area a popular area with younger fans given its proximity to the pitch, dugout and tunnel.
The consultation process and overall project is being led by PST Board Member and Club Director John Kimbell, who has sat in the Family Section since attending his first game at Fratton Park in 1983. John said “The Family Section is very close to my heart having stood or sat there on a match day for over 30 years. To be honest in that time the overall experience hasn’t changed a great deal. We are now looking at options to improve the overall match day experience for those fans that sit in the Family Section currently as well as looking at ways to make it more attractive to new fans. This is a terrific opportunity for us to put together a proposal for the club to consider so we’d welcome views from all fans on how we can improve the Family Section”
Fans that wish to contribute ideas to this project or wish to get involved themselves, should send them to [email protected] before 18th March 2016. Alternatively John will be available at the ‘Pompey Bus’ behind the Fratton End to discuss this in more detail before our game with Cambridge on 27th February, and at our Open Meeting on 14th March.
