The Pompey Supporters' Trust were one of over 90 signatories on this campaign by the Football Supporters Federation and we are delighted the FA have released 7k more tickets to fans of both sides who will contest the Final.
Pam Wilkins, PST Vice Chair, had this to say "When the FSF asked if PST would sign a letter they were sending to the FA asking that more Cup Final tickets be allocated to the two teams involved, we had no hesitation in signing on behalf of Pompey Fans.
The Cup Final is such a big day out for supporters we agreed that as many as possible should have the opportunity to be there to support their team. It would have made a difference to us in 2008 and 2010 so we were very pleased to hear that the letter, signed by Trusts and supporters' groups up and down the country has succeeded.
We are doubly pleased to hear that the FA has reduced ticket prices for the final as well."
