PST seek feedback on 'WGS' proposals
By PST Board

Added on 15 September 2016

The PST are urging its members and other Pompey fans to take part in a survey we have organised regarding the FA's ‘Whole Game Solution’ proposal.

We have worked with the club to organise the survey who will be supplied with the results of it ahead of a meeting of the EFL later this month.

The Whole Game Solution proposes, among other things, expanding the professional league structure to five divisions of 20, moving two FA Cup rounds to midweek, scrapping FA Cup replays and adding a winter break to the season.

Pompey CEO Mark Catlin said: 'I am delighted the PST and the club have been able to work together to organise this survey. I have asked the Trust to provide me with a copy of the results before I attend the EFL meeting on September 22.

"The club is currently opposed in principle to the proposals, but it is important we take on board supporter views and this survey will allow us to do just that."

Trust Chairman Ashley Brown said “Both Mark Catlin and I have had recent articles published regarding our views on the Whole Game Solution. There are elements of it which both the club and PST have been vocal in their opposition. However the PST is keen to canvass the views of the wider Pompey fan base and so have produced this survey in partnership with the club. The results of this can be taken forward by Mark Catlin in his continued discussions with the EFL"

Fans can take part in the survey by clicking here http://po.st/pst-wgs.

Please try and complete this by 20th September.
