Following a meeting of the PST board last night, the unanimous decision was taken to co-opt a younger supporter to our board.

The appointment and the subsequent creation of the PSTYC (Pompey Supporters’ Trust Youth Committee) is just one element of a strategic plan currently under discussion by the PST.

PST Chairman Ken Malley said “We are determined to evolve as an organisation this year and are currently working on a number of initiatives that will help us achieve our objectives.  We recognise the need to engage with younger fans that in turn can help us tackle the issues they and other fans of a similar age face.  Similarly as we look to increase our membership base we are determined to do so amongst the 16-24 age group and feel that co-opting a younger fan to our board will help us do just that”.

If you are a Pompey fan aged 16 or over and interested in joining the PSTYC, please contact Ken at [email protected] with your name, age and brief summary of why you believe you would be well suited for the role.

Please ensure your email is received by midday on Monday 16th February.
