The PST are pleased to announce that Saturday’s matchday with Bristol Rovers will be a special fundraising event for the Jimmy Dickinson statue campaign.
Donation collection points:
Fans are encouraged to “Bring a Fiver to Fratton” for this game as part of the Crowdfunding efforts to fund the statue. Bucket collections will be visible around the outside of Fratton Park prior to kick off. If you don’t carry cash, there will also be the opportunity to donate by payment card – look out for the PST banner in the fanzone behind the Fratton End where we’d be delighted to help you donate in this way. Matchday Programme:
The matchday programme, available around the ground for £3, will contain a special feature on Jimmy Dickinson written by his biographer Peter Jeffs.
Special guests:
Jimmy’s son Andrew Dickinson will be in attendance at the game as a guest of the club, as well as award-winning sculptor Douglas Jennings, who has been selected to create the statue.
There will also be announcements from the club before, during and after the game in support of the statue.
