The PST is seeking the help of a volunteer from our member base as we look to launch the first edition of our monthly newsletter during the close season.
The concept of the newsletter was outlined by John Kimbell at the recent Open Meeting as a new communications tool to give members a more regular insight into what projects the board are working on.
Ideally we’d like someone who can spare a few hours each month to work alongside John and the rest of the board to help manage the overall process of creating the newsletter.
John said – “We are often asked by our members if they can help us out in any way and after speaking to the board, I thought this would be a great opportunity for someone to do just that. Essentially we’re looking for a designer, writer and editor all in one and if someone has a working knowledge of the email marketing solution ‘Mail Chimp’ then that would be really useful”.
“I anticipate this taking up a fair amount of time initially, but once we have agreed on a design it should only take someone a few hours each month to work with me on creating a really nice, engaging newsletter that I hope will keep our members fully up to date with what we are working on”
