Barry was co-opted onto the PST Board in November 2017.
Aged 72, he is a lifelong supporter of Pompey in particular and football in general.
Educated at Chichester High School, Oxford University and Birmingham University, he is a retired chartered town planner with 40 years’ experience. The last 29 years of this was in senior positions with Portsmouth City Council.
He was a member of the PST Stadium Sub-Group which prepared the two reports recently published on the PST website on the location of a stadium and the redevelopment potential of Fratton Park. It is as representative of this Sub-Group and because of his knowledge of the planning background that he was co-opted onto the PST Board.
